Tell us about how you started in the company and your current position.
I love making things, so I hoped to be in a place where I could be creative.
When I first went to Sanwa for my interview with the general manager, I got praise for the fact that I was being myself. That was the deciding factor for me and I knew I wanted to work here.
I currently inspect completed products, but I plan to be in charge of investigating and handling product defects and complaints.
I am nervous about being among experienced bosses that are from the manufacturing field, but I am excited to be in a position where I can learn about the entire manufacturing process.
What is the best thing about working at Sanwa?
For me, the most amazing thing about working at Sanwa is that it’s comfortable. It’s a place you can come to each day and enjoy talking to the people around you.
There are many kinds people inside the company, and when I think about all of the great coworkers I truly feel blessed. There are people that are close to me in age, and people that have become personal friends.
About three times a year we get together for work vacations or gatherings.
Even if you are in a different department or are in a different year, there are many opportunities to communicate with everyone.
The connection and community just might be the best thing about working at Sanwa.
What are your dreams for the future?
I've gotten a lot of new work that was handed down to me, so more clearly dealing with the task at hand is my current goal.
Also, I hope someday to be entrusted with larger responsibilities, and to be a leader that people can come to.
Here at Sanwa Metal Industry, there are many talented people in the company, and they all are on a good path learning how to hone their own skills. I think from here on end there will be numerous exciting possibilities for the future of Sanwa.
